The LP605M Convertible 7.5’ Compact Light Stand and Monopod is designed to lighten the load for location photographers. Developed with Industrial Designer and Photographer, Eric Au, the LP605M builds on the popular LP605 Compact Light Stand. Photographers can use the LP605M to quickly adjust from using off camera flash for a portrait setup to shooting action shots or video.

Retractable monopod feet with a fluid chamber and a mounting adapter enable the user to capture smooth videos or stabilize for rock-solid stills. Lock the fluid chamber to hold the monopod in position or loosen the twist lock for smooth panning shots. When not in use, the feet fold away to allow the stand to be used as a support for speedlights and modifiers.

The LP605M includes an adapter for seamless transition from mounting a speedlight to mounting a camera without carrying extra gear. Use your existing ballhead with the adapter for easy control while shooting video.

Due to its compact design, the LP605M is the perfect support for lightweight lighting kits, on location or in the studio. Built-in ground spikes can be used to secure the stand on semi-soft surfaces. The stand’s legs can flatten when extended for low-profile support and fold tight to the center column to give the LP605M maximum portability.

The LP605M is built of lightweight, but durable aluminum and features metal locking collars, five sections and four risers. Monopod feet are made of aluminum with rubberized feet for grip on a variety of surfaces. The LP605M features a standard 5/8" top with 3/8" thread and includes a platform mounting adapter and LP605-3 3/8" to 1/4"-20 Adapter.
